When Sandra Coudray came across a photo of Jasmine, a blind chimera cat, on the Association Adoption Feline Facebook page, she knew she had found her perfect feline companion. Despite Jasmine’s initial malnourishment and fear of people, a little bit of love was all it took for her to regain trust in humans. Now, this beautiful calico cat adores kisses and snuggles, and has formed a strong bond with her human mom, Coudray. Coudray shared, “I knew I had to adopt her the moment I learned she was blind, as I had experience living with a blind cat in the past. During a recent trip to Normandy, leaving Jasmine in my brother’s care, she would wait for me on my bed every day, showing just how much she had come to rely on us. Jasmine has brought us endless joy and love, and we can’t imagine life without her.” Jasmine, the once scared and confused stray cat roaming the streets of France, has now found her forever home filled with love and care.
The little cat was brought to a rescue center for animals in need.
Coudray gushed, “The moment I laid eyes on Jasmine on Facebook, she completely captured my heart.”
“The foster family informed me that she is visually impaired, but in my eyes, she is just as special as any other feline.”
“I knew right away that I wanted to bring her home with me…especially after caring for a blind cat in the past.”
The reason for her blindness could be linked to malnutrition, which also left her fearful of being around people and animals.
Jasmine is a cuddly pup who adores showering her human mom, Coudray, with kisses and snuggles. She is extremely bonded to her, finding comfort and joy in their close relationship.
The most recent trip I took was to Normandy for a short visit with my family. During my time away, I entrusted the care of my pet to my brother.
She spent the majority of each day patiently waiting for me on my bed.
