Taylor Swift treated fans to teaser clips of the forthcoming music videos for her highly-anticipated tenth studio album Midnights, which dropped early Friday.
In the footage that aired earlier on Thursday Night Football, Swift delivered a feast for the eyes as she danced around in sparkly lingerie in one exciting sequence. The clip featured the instrumentals from one of the album’s soon-to-be hit hits, including the lead single Anti-Hero – with the music video now released.
And fans have gone wild over the new release, taking to Twitter’s #2 Trending spot as they stormed the social platform with declarations of love for the album – which is written about 13 sleepless nights across her life.
Midnights also features some sweet odes to Taylor’s boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn, and addresses rumours of an engagement between the pair in love song Lavender Haze.
It appeared to be a hit among reviewers too, receiving four and five stars from a slew of publications- including The Guardian and The Independent, with the latter’s Helen Brown describes: ‘It will make you feel as though you’re sleeping over at her house while she spills secrets and settles scores into the night.’
