The sight of the black serval has left many people awestruck. To them, it bears a uncanny resemblance to the mythical black cat often featured in African folk tales. Wildlife photographer George Turner recently had a rare encounter with this stunning creature. It appears this particular serval may be one-of-a-kind in the entire world. Its deep black fur is not only remarkable but also exudes an air of mystery, reminiscent of the legends surrounding black cats. Turner was lucky to spot this extraordinary serval in the Namirri Plains of Tanzania. Unlike other servals with leopard-like spots, this captivating feline stands out with its jet-black coat.
